Anker launches new window-mounted camera with 25-degree tilt and local AI detection

Hot on the heels of the launch of the Video Doorbell S4 and the SoloCam E50, Eufy has launched the Window Camera E10, a compact security camera that attaches to the inside of a window pane and monitors a driveway, garden, or front door without any outdoor mounting. The camera costs $79.99 in the US and £69.99 in the UK, and it stores 2.5K footage locally on a memory card, so owners do not need a paid plan to keep recordings.

A two-camera pack sells for $149.99 in the US and £129.99 in the UK. Eufy’s US store lists the E10 on pre-order with shipping expected by mid-November, while its UK listing says pre-orders will be dispatched in November and processed on a first-come, first-served basis because of high demand.

The camera measures 68.28 x 68.28 x 41.8mm and weighs 64.1g. It fixes to interior glass with a reusable adhesive sticker that Eufy says peels away at room temperature without leaving residue, which removes the need for drilling, brackets, or tools. The company puts average installation time at under a minute and pitches the drill-free design at renters as well as homeowners.

A dial on the back tilts the lens downward by up to 25 degrees. Eufy says the adjustment trims the empty sky that fills the top of most window-mounted views and brings more of the ground into frame, where visitors, pets, and parcels appear. The housing wraps around the lens and sits flush against the pane, and the box includes anti-reflection stickers intended to cut glare from indoor lights at night. Eufy acknowledges that extra-thick double- or triple-glazed windows can still produce slight glare at the edges of the image.

The E10 records at 2688 x 1520 resolution and 15 frames per second in H.264 through an f/1.0 lens with a 125-degree diagonal field of view. Night footage relies on Eufy’s MaxColor Vision, which uses the wide aperture and image processing to produce color video in low light instead of a built-in spotlight. Wide dynamic range is switched on by default, and the app supports up to 8x digital zoom.

Motion detection runs on the device itself. The camera classifies activity as a person, vehicle, or pet and sends push notifications labelled by event type, while custom activity zones restrict alerts to chosen parts of the scene. Continuous 24/7 recording is supported, and pre-roll capture saves the moments leading up to a triggered event. The E10 connects over dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi and works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Two-way audio is built in, although Eufy states that talking to someone outside depends on the thickness and insulation of the glass.

Recordings are saved to a microSD card of up to 256GB, which is sold separately. Eufy says AI detection, continuous recording, and smart alerts all work without a monthly fee, a contrast with rivals such as Ring, which requires a paid subscription to save and review recorded video. Optional cloud backup is available for owners who want an off-site copy. The camera can operate on its own or pair with Eufy’s HomeBase S380, HomeBase Mini and HomeBase Professional hubs, which add continuous snapshot capture. The older HomeBase 2 (S280) and Apple HomeKit are not supported.

The E10 has no battery and draws power from a plug-in adapter through a USB-C cable. Eufy supplies a 3m (10ft) lead with a 90-degree L-shaped connector and clips for routing it along the window frame, but the camera can only be placed on windows within reach of a power outlet, and the cable stays visible inside the room. TechRadar singled out the wired design as the product’s main limitation in its launch coverage.

Eufy also advises against several uses. The company says the camera should not be aimed at subjects closer than 0.5m, such as bird feeders or fish tanks, or mounted on frosted, patterned, or cracked glass. It also warns that upper-floor windows looking steeply downward create larger blind zones and that owners should avoid angles that intrude on neighbors' privacy. The E10 is rated to operate between -10°C and 50°C. The E10 box contains the camera, a mounting sticker, a power adapter, a USB-C cable, cable clips, and a quick start guide. The camera is sold under the Anker eufy name, following the brand’s move under Anker’s unified branding.

I’ve been obsessed with tech for as long as I can remember, so much so that I’ve become the unofficial "tech support" for my entire family. Whether it’s fixing gadgets, explaining specs, or recommending the best buys, I love breaking down tech for everyday people. That passion led me to writing about tech. When I’m not testing gadgets or writing reviews, you’ll probably find me hiking or doom-scrolling car listings (still hunting for my first ride, wish me luck, lol).
