Christmas Day and Boxing Day 2027 bank holidays confirmed as dates moved

Although Christmas Day and Boxing Day fall on December 25 and 26 every year, the associated bank holidays can change. When those two days land on a weekend, the Government can allocate what is known as a 'substitute bank holiday' — and in 2027 both festive dates fall on a weekend.
