Tributes paid to ‘much-loved’ father who died after being hit by car in Fife

Tributes have been paid to a “much-loved” father who died after being hit by car in Fife.

Emergency services were called to Lumphinnans Road in Lochgelly around 1.30am on Saturday after a black Volkswagen Golf struck a pedestrian.

Steven Dick was pronounced dead at the scene. The 48-year-old’s family have now paid tribute.

The road was closed for around six hours and has since reopened.

Police are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to come forward.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the crash and we are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

“If you were on Lumphinnans Road and witnessed the crash, or may have dash cam footage of significance, please get in touch.”
