UFC Edmonton went down last night (Sat., Oct.17, 2026) in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada which saw Mike Malott deliver a highlight-reel knockout over Joaquin Buckley in the featured bout (see it again here). In the co-headlining act, Jasmine Jasudavicius defeated Erin Blanchfield via unanimous decision (recap here), while Cristian Perez had himself an impressive debut by knocking out Kyle Nelsonin just 27 seconds.

Winner: Mike Malott
Who He Should Fight Next: Sean Brady vs. Gabriel Bonfim winner
Malott secured the biggest win of his UFC career thanks to a crushing knockout win over Buckley, which will put him just outside of he Top 5 next week. Matching him against the winner of the upcoming showdown between Brady and Bonfim could be a good idea. Brady is currently ranked No. 5, while Bonfim sits at No. 6. I expect Malott to take over the No. 7 position, so either matchup would make sense, and it could go down at UFC 336.

Winner: Jasmine Jasudavicius
Who She Should Face Next: Zhang Weili
Alexa Grasso is likely the first choice to face Natalia Silva in what would be the newly-crowned champion’s first title defense, so Jasudavicius will have to face the next best thing, which would be Weili, who is currently ranked No. 5 in the division. Another option could be a rematch against Manon Fiorot, who defeated Jasudavicius last year, but she is coming off a loss to Grasso. For now, it seems Weili is the best choice to give Jasudavicius another chance to prove she is deserving of a title fight.

Winner: Cristian Perez
Who He Should Face Next: Mike Davis
Perez had himself an explosive UFC debut, knocking out Kyle Nelsonin 27 seconds to lock down a post-fight bonus award. The Mexican-born fighter will look to keep his momentum going in his sophomore effort, but it will still be a slow-and-steady approach. That’s why a fight against longtime veteran, Mike Davis, could be in order. Davis has been fighting for the promotion for six years now, but has not been able to gain much traction during that time. He is coming off a tough loss at the hands of Nurullo Aliev, which puts him at 1-2 in his last three bouts.

Winner: Marc-André Barriault
Who He Should Face Next: Cody Brundage
Barriault pretty much saved his spot on the UFC roster a bit longer last night after defeating Kyle Daukaus in the first round via TKO, snapping his two-fight skid. That’s why a fight against another struggling Middleweight in the form of Cody Brundage could be in order. Brundage snapped his three-fight skid earlier this year by defeating Andre Petroski via TKO, his first win in over a year, going 0-3-1 prior to last night.

Winner: Timothy Cuamba
Who He Should Face Next: Victor Henry
Cuamba was able to get back into the win column with an impressive win over Louis Jourdain via submission. The scrappy Bantamweight is 3-1 in his last four fights, so I wouldn’t mind seeing him face off against someone with a similar run. Henry fits that bill perfectly because he, too, got back in the win column in his most recent outing by defeating Pedro Falcao earlier this year. He is 2-1-1 in his last four bouts inside the Octagon.
