The Yellow Jackets are looking for their first win streak of any kind since their 8-0 start last season with a date in Blacksburg on the calendar today. James Franklin’s Virginia Tech Hokies come in at 4-2 on the season with both of their losses coming in conference play.
Tech will be without Kyle Efford for the rest of the season, as he announced his medical retirement on Tuesday. Tech may also be without starting running back Justice Haynes, who was listed as questionable on the midweek injury report.
With a win, Tech would climb to .500 at 3-3 on the season and 2-1 in conference play. If a game felt like Coastal Chaos, this is that game.
