CHEONGJU — North Chungcheong Province is organizing a tailored policy finance briefing to help companies in the province secure the funding they need on time.
The province said on the 12th that it will hold the North Chungcheong Province Policy Finance Briefing for Small and Mid-Sized Companies on Nov. 3 at the provincial government conference hall, and will accept online pre-registrations from Oct. 12 to Oct. 28.
The event will let companies review a range of policy finance programs in one place and provide information to help them more easily use financial support programs suited to their growth stage and funding needs.
Korea Development Bank will explain how to use the National Growth Fund, including eligibility and application procedures, and introduce policy finance programs for small and mid-sized companies.
The Export-Import Bank of Korea will present financing programs for exporters and companies expanding overseas, Industrial Bank of Korea will cover policy funds and support programs for smaller companies, and the Korea Technology Finance Corporation will outline guarantee and investment programs for technology firms.
Investment institutions will also introduce equity investment support measures using venture capital and the National Growth Fund, offering companies a range of financial information they can draw on as they invest and grow.
"We will listen to the voices of companies on the ground and proactively identify the support they need," said Lee Bok-won, the province's vice governor for economic affairs.
