It was one of the most unexpected weddings of the nineties: the daughter of the King of Rock and the King of Pop. Three decades later, the marriage of Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Jackson continues to arouse curiosity, and an old friend of hers has just added an intimate chapter to the story.
Comedian Roseanne Barr, star of the series ‘Roseanne’, has stated in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that Lisa Marieconfessed to her that Jackson had been "the best lover she had ever had". According to Barr, her friend also told her that the singer used to tell her everything a woman wants to hear.'

A friend's version
Barr described Presley as the best partner in crime she had in Hollywood. When the interviewer cast doubt on her account, the actress insisted she was not lying and maintained that Lisa Marie never exaggerated about that kind of thing.
This is Barr's testimony and not a direct statement from Presley, who died in January 2023 at the age of 54. The comedian also spoke about her brief marriage to Nicolas Cage, which lasted less than four months in 2002.
A relationship that divided the family
Presley and Jackson secretly married on May 26, 1994 in the Dominican Republic and divorced in 1996. For years, many doubted that the relationship was anything more than a public image alliance.
However, Lisa Marie herself left a record of her feelings in her posthumous memoir, ‘From Here to the Great Unknown’, completed by her daughter Riley Keough. In it, she recalls that Jackson confessed to being in love with her and that he wanted to have children together.
Her mother, Priscilla Presley, also addressed the issue in her memoir. She said that she asked her daughter whether the relationship was physical and that she replied yes, although she admitted that she never liked the marriage.
