Oasis’s Noel Gallagher has shared advice for working with a sibling and cautioned to “be prepared to compromise”.
The Britpop star, 59, appeared on the final season of Amelia Dimoldenberg’s Chicken Shop Date where the presenter interviews celebrity guests and frames it as a date.
During the episode, the singer-songwriter, who fronts Oasis alongside his brother Liam Gallagher, was asked if he had any advice for working with a sibling.
He said: “I think you’ve got to be prepared just to compromise.
“Which is something I’m not ordinarily very good at.
“I think it gets better as you get older.”
During the “date”, he said he had met Sir Paul McCartney “several” times and that the Beatles singer calls him “Nolo”.
He added: “He is one of those rare people that when you meet him, you walk away from it feeling good about yourself.”
Gallagher also recounted the time when he gave one of his guitars to a musician who played him in a tribute band.

He said: “There was this band called Noasis and we went to see them – it was sold out.
“And I brought it down and gave it to the lad.”
The appearance comes ahead of the singer heading back on the road for the Britpop band’s Oasis Live ’27 tour, following on from the success of their 2025 tour.
The reunion came following a long-standing feud between Liam and Noel after the band split in 2009 – reportedly prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in France.
The group have had eight UK number one singles and eight UK number one albums, with Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back In Anger and Roll With It among their best-known hits.
