Tiruchi Junction –Palakkad Town Express to be diverted on October 23, 25

Train No. 16843 Tiruchi Junction –Palakkad Town Express will be partially cancelled and diverted on October 23 and 25 owing to engineering works on a railway bridge between Erode and Tiruppur railway stations.

According to a release from Salem Railway Division, the train, scheduled to leave Tiruchi Junction at 1 p.m., will be short-terminated at Ingur, between Erode and Uthukuli, on both days. After completion of the works, the train will operate as an unreserved special train from Ingur to Palakkad Town. The train will also be diverted via Irugur–Podanur, skipping stoppages at Singanallur, Peelamedu, Coimbatore North and Coimbatore Junction on October 23 and 25, the release added.
