KUALA LUMPUR: Vestland Bhd, through its indirect wholly-owned Vestland Infra Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM225.07 million contract for river widening and related works under the Integrated River Basin Development project in Kelantan.
Pembinaan Rizen Sdn Bhd awarded the contract, and Vestland Infra accepted the letter of award on Oct 15.
The scope covers river widening, structural and associated works.
Work is scheduled to commence on Oct 28, 2026, with completion targeted for Oct 14, 2028.
Vestland said the contract is expected to contribute to the company's earnings and net assets throughout the contract period, assuming no material delays.
The contract is in the ordinary course of business for Vestland Infra, which does not anticipate any exceptional risks beyond the normal operational risks associated with the project.
