Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has bought a five-bedroom villa for his family in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, according to the property’s developer, Ohana Development.
The announcement was made on Monday, October 12, 2026, during the launch of the second phase of Manchester City Yas Residences by Ohana at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
In a video message shown at the event, Haaland confirmed the purchase, saying his father, former Manchester City player Alfie Haaland, had also bought a property in the development.
“We will be neighbours in Abu Dhabi. I just got a house and so did my father,” Haaland said in the video message, as reported by Gulf News on October 12.
In a statement published on its website on the same date, Ohana Development announced Haaland as a homeowner in the residential project, describing his property as “a five-bedroom villa for his family”.
According to Gulf News, Haaland’s father attended the event and collected the keys to his property.
The second phase of the development features two- and three-bedroom townhouses, duplex villas, and four- and five-bedroom villas. Sales are scheduled to begin in October, according to the developer.
Manchester City Yas Residences by Ohana is located along Yas Canal, adjacent to Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The project is planned to comprise more than 2,000 residences, with delivery scheduled in phases by 2029.
Ohana Development did not disclose how much Haaland paid for his villa.
