The Korea Housing Builders Association is launching a second-half training program to help homebuilders cope with a rapidly shifting market marked by tax reform, tight funding conditions and digital transformation.
The association will hold its "2026 Second-Half Member Training on Housing Projects" on the 28th at Art Hall Bom on the first floor of Seoul Women's Plaza in Daebang-dong, Dongjak District, Seoul. The session is open to employees of member companies nationwide.
The curriculum covers issues that participants can apply immediately on the job. Topics include the main features of the Aug. 3 tax reform plan and its expected impact on the housing market, an analysis of property policy and market trends, guidance on credit support through the project financing information platform, and the future of housing projects in the era of artificial intelligence transformation.
The program will examine the recently announced Aug. 3 tax reform plan in detail to gauge its market impact, with a focus on getting ahead of tax risks that arise at project sites. It will also analyze the government's property policy stance and market flows to explore practical business strategies from the perspectives of both suppliers and buyers.
The association will also present financing support measures for member firms struggling to secure liquidity. It plans to explain in detail the credit support scheme built on the project financing information platform and how to use the financial services it offers. The program will additionally share ways to apply AI across business operations and review survival strategies from multiple angles.
"This training was designed to offer practical solutions to member companies wrestling with tax reform and market change, and to help them respond pre-emptively to the new paradigm of the AI era," said Kim Sung-eun, chairman of the Korea Housing Builders Association. "We will continue to expand tailored practical training that helps improve our members' business environment and strengthen their capabilities."
Attendance is free of charge and limited to the first 250 employees from member firms. Applicants can register online through the website of the association's training institute.
