Uzbekistan will introduce a 50% discount on admission tickets to cultural heritage sites, state museums and museum-reserves from November 1 to November 30, 2026, as part of the "Tourism Month for the Elderly." The 50% discount will apply to admission tickets to cultural heritage sites, state museums and museum-reserves during November 2026.
The measure is outlined in the minutes of Cabinet of Ministers meeting No. 1, dated September 29, 2026. According to the document, a directive was issued to provide discounted admission to cultural heritage sites and state museums during the Tourism Month for the Elderly.
Previously, Uzbekistan announced a 20% discount on railway tickets for elderly pensioners. The railway discount is available annually during two periods: October 2–8 and November 1–30. Women over the age of 55 and men over the age of 60 who are elderly pensioners are eligible for the benefit. The discount applies to all domestic railway routes, except the Afrosiyob high-speed electric train.
From November 1 to November 30, 2026, the 50% discount on admission to cultural heritage sites, state museums and museum-reserves will coincide with the annual 20% railway ticket discount for eligible elderly pensioners. Both discounts will be available during the Tourism Month for the Elderly, with the railway discount excluding Afrosiyob high-speed train services.
