Bravo has renewed the Summer House spinoff, In the City, for Season 2 and Southern Hospitality for Season 5.
The renewals come as the network brings Bravoholics together for Bravo Fan Fest: Charleston this weekend.
In the City‘s return comes as no surprise, as the series proved a ratings success early last summer. The Summer House was among Bravo’s top three most-watched freshman series of the past five years, averaging 2M total viewers across platforms in seven days.
In the City follows a group of New Yorkers as they navigate the biggest transitions of their lives – marriage, separation, parenthood, reinvention and the reality of growing up without growing apart.
The cast of the first season included Kyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, Amanda Batula, Danielle Olivera, Eoin Heavey, Andrea Denver, Lexi Sundin, Nick Barber, Yvonne Najor, Georgina Ferzil, Whitney Fransway, Kenny Martin, Gavin Moseley and Katie Arundel.
Interest in the spinoff spiked after the Summer House scandal, when co-stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson admitted they were in a relationship. Batula had been married to Kyle Cooke, and In the City was supposed to chronicle their marital struggles. By the time the show premiered, that storyline didn’t make sense as viewers knew Batula was with Wilson. Bravo had to film new scenes for the spinoff to make sense of everything that was happening in real time.

The network hasn’t confirmed its Season 2 cast or whether Batula will return to the series.
In The City is produced by Truly Original (a Banijay America company) with Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Jamie Jakimo, Nathan Palmer, Faith Gaskins and Maggie Langtry serving as executive producers.
Southern Hospitality returns for Season 5 and follows a dynamic circle of friends in Charleston, S.C., as they make their mark on the city’s thriving hospitality scene. As they chase their ambitions and navigate the unpredictable nature of friendship, love, and life in the South, this tight-knit group proves there’s never a dull moment on or off the clock.
The series began as a Southern Charm spinoff, following Leva Bonaparte as she manages the staff at her multiple establishments on King Street in Charleston. However, a fallout among the cast and Bonaparte seems to have happened, and she will no longer be a part of the show.

Bravo still credits Bonaparte as an executive producer for the new season alongside her husband, Lamar, but it’s unclear how involved she will be. On Threads, Bonaparte shared she wasn’t going to attend Bravo Fan Fest in her hometown, despite having been confirmed, and added, “I’m moving on to a new chapter of my life. Appreciated my time there, but it’s no longer serving me. New projects on the horizon.”
Southern Hospitality is produced by Haymaker East. Aaron Rothman, Josh Halpert, and Jesse Light are executive producers.
