Three killed in Eshowe store shooting as police hunt former employee
Police are searching for a former employee who allegedly shot and killed three people at a grocery store in Eshowe during an internal disciplinary hearing.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda said the suspect, a former employee of the store, had allegedly gone to the premises for an internal disciplinary hearing.
The suspect allegedly produced a firearm and shot three people, who were declared dead at the scene.
A manhunt has been launched to trace the suspect, who remains at large.
Police investigations into the circumstances surrounding the shooting are continuing.
