Blankets have never received a dedicated show during Fashion Week… until Lola Blankets came along, that is, and made history by sending its lavish, faux-fur throws down the runway last year.

The circa-2021 luxury company, founded by two brothers, is making indisputable waves on social media as we speak. It has sold well over a million blankets at this point, and A-listers from Oprah Winfrey (Lola is on her “Favorite Things” list!) to Simone Biles and Selena Gomez (she wrote her vows to Benny Blanco while resting on a Lola blanket) have cosigned the brand in recent years.

That being said, Lola Blankets’ hot streak is far from over. On October 14, at 11 a.m. EST, it’s unveiling a much-anticipated collaboration with LoveShackFancy. And as collabs like Fanatics x LoveShackFancy, Hunter x LoveShackFancy, and Wet Brush x LoveShackFancy have proved, anything that gets the label’s feminine, whimsical, and bow-powered treatment immediately turns to gold — or, more accurately, to pink (before selling out in mere hours).

The Lola Blankets x LoveShackFancy rollouts consist of two never-before-seen blanket styles: Rosy Bows, which is said to reimagine the latter’s aforementioned bow motif, and Petal Pink, “created using a new double-dye technique,” according to a press release, that lends the piece visual depth and a certain frostiness.

As a fun surprise, each purchase (on lolablankets.com and loveshackfancy.com) will be accompanied by a complimentary, co-branded tote bag: for hauling the blanket to adult sleepovers or turning your acquisition of it into an “IYKYK” humble brag on the streets. Considering the speed at which inventory is bound to vanish, snagging a Lola Blankets x LoveShackFancy blanket is an achievement you’ll be wanting to show off.

Both the pink-on-white and all-pink blankets are offered in four distinct size options — Baby ($125; a nursery nonnegotiable), Medium ($275; I own this size and can attest to its ideal dimensions for movie nights), Large ($325), and XL ($425; for when you want to hide inside the blanket’s sumptuously warm embrace and not come out until spring). Note that the full range of sizes is only available on Lola Blankets’ website.

Lola Blankets has many superlatives attached to its name, including “world’s softest blanket,” “original luxury blanket,” “most-sold blanket in America,” and “most-reviewed blanket in the world.” Like its partner in the drop, the brand is also no stranger to an impactful collaboration and media moment, having paired up with the New York Yankees in the past and made “Off Campus'” Belmont Cameli the face of a fall 2026 campaign.

Underneath it all, though, is a refreshingly simple and wholesome mission. Tommy and Will Higham launched Lola Blankets to honor their mom, who lost her battle to breast cancer in 2020 and often took comfort in cozy, faux-fur blankets during procedures. Amy Hingham gave each son his own blanket before passing.

Now, Lola Blankets gives back by gifting product to breast cancer patients on a regular basis and donating proceeds from select SKUs to breast cancer organizations, supporting research and early detection efforts.

Quite fittingly, the LoveShackFancy-coded blankets are pastel pink — the symbolic hue of breast cancer awareness — and arrive amidst Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
