Last week, Samsung's One UI 9 rollout reached the Galaxy S24 series as well as the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6, but, as usual, the company started it in South Korea. Now, a few days later, the update is also available in the US.
Galaxy S24 devices purchased from both AT&T and T-Mobile are starting to receive the update in the US. The update comes over-the-air as an almost 4GB download, so make sure you grab it over a fast enough network. Once you install it, you will be on One UI 9 based on Android 17, and you will also have the September 2026 security patch level. For the S24 models, the new firmware version ends in EZIF.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 units that were sold unlocked in the US are also getting the update, with firmware version F956U1UEU4EZIH for the former and F741U1UEU4EZIH for the latter. These updates should make their way to many other countries very soon.
