There may be times when e-commerce vendors do not have sufficient time or funds to create a video for each of their products. Vidu Q4 by Pollo AI provides an opportunity to create an ad in the form of a video from one product image by incorporating motion and sound effects. The most important thing in creating such videos is to maintain consistency of the product throughout the video.
Here's how to create a short product ad with Vidu Q4 on Pollo AI, from preparing the image to refining the final video.
Step 1: Prepare a Product Image
Choose a Clear Starting Image
Use a sharp photo that shows the product's shape, color, and packaging clearly. A simple background and even lighting give the model less visual clutter to work around.
Create an Image if Needed
If the original photo isn't suitable, Nano Banana 2.1 on Pollo AI can help create a new product scene. For items being sold, check that the image still reflects the real packaging, logo, and proportions.
Step 2: Open Vidu Q4 on Pollo AI
Visit the Vidu Q4 page on Pollo AI, open the image-to-video workflow, and upload the product photo.
Before generating, decide what the ad should focus on, how the camera should move, and whether audio is needed. A single clear shot is usually easier to control than a scene packed with actions and effects.
Step 3: Generate the Product Ad
Write a Specific Prompt
Instead of requesting a generic video in movies, describe what the shot should be like. The camera motion, lighting, and actions in the scene are needed to be described. It is also necessary to mention what features of the product should remain the same.
For instance, an advertisement for skincare may have a bottle on a clean countertop. The camera pans in. Soft lighting shines on the packaging of the bottle; its shape, color, and label do not change.
Keep the Motion Simple
There cannot be a picture that represents all aspects of a product. Requesting a full 360 degree turn will create a picture that has been fabricated or is packaged differently.
Begin with an easy zoom-in or a side movement of the camera for a trial. This will help ensure that the product is still the focus.
Step 4: Review and Refine the Video
Review the generated video clip for any warping of the labels, changes in logos, distortion of the shapes, flashing reflections, and unintended background changes. A video can appear to be good-looking on the first sight and have some inaccuracies with the product itself.
As stated on the official site, Vidu Q4 is capable of providing synchronized audio, controlled camera movements, and shot transitions in the clips up to 16 seconds long. Such features allow experimentation, but further review is necessary.
In case of any inconsistencies, start with changing one feature at a time. Make the camera movement more simple if there is a distortion of the product, make the action more concise if the clip seems overloaded.
Step 5: Prepare the Video for Its Platform
Consider where the video will ultimately go when you export it. Vertical video is usually needed for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, while a horizontal composition may be more suitable for a website product page.
Make sure that the product remains visible throughout the video – from start to finish. You can even trim the video using an editor and add text/call to action or tweak the audio. It’s important not to use visuals generated by AI technology to make any claims about the product without verification.
Tips for Creating Better Product Ads with Vidu Q4
Keep the prompt focused. Decide on the composition, camera movement, and lighting before generating. Avoid piling on extra actions when a simple shot will do.
Check the details before publishing. Confirm that the product, label, and logo remain accurate, the aspect ratio fits the platform, and the audio and text are appropriate.
Make targeted revisions. If the first version doesn't work, adjust one element at a time instead of rewriting the entire prompt.

Vidu Q4 for Pollo AI provides an easy way of creating a promotional video from a single image of the product. This can be done through ensuring that one has a good photograph, using camera movement appropriate for the product, and ensuring that there are no visual issues in the video.
