The legacy of Saint Lucian music legend and cultural award recipient Hubert “Breeze” Fevrier is being memorialised through his son’s latest project.
Thomas Fevrier, better known in music circles as Mr Platinum, recently released an album titled Butter Cup ’26 — a musical venture and heartfelt love letter that bridges generations and honours a rich cultural legacy.

The album, featuring various Saint Lucian co-contributors, was released on September 26. Among the songs on this project is Ti Kwa, which serves as a bridge from one generation to the next. The song, sung in Saint Lucian Creole, is accompanied by a music video that depicts imagery of Saint Lucian life along with a series of Lucian faces, including Carlton Coaks Cyril of Che Campeche fame.
Hubert Breeze Fevrier is the musical and cultural foundation behind this story. His legacy, including Pawol Sewiye, gives the world a powerful way to understand where Mr Platinum comes from before discovering where he is going, as depicted at the end of the Ti Kwa music video.
Mr Platinum, who is now based in Baytown, Texas, said the album is an expression of his love for his father.
“The things I remember are more about my father’s character outside the band room. His perseverance, his will to master his craft… how he treats people, the way he loves,” he said.

He admitted in a recent interview on the Game Changers Hub Podcast that “Buttercup 26 is really my love letter to the world.”
Mr Platinum believes this album will help him achieve his overall goal of “building hieroglyphs” and creating something that outlives him.
