KATHMANDU, Oct 25: Some parts of the country are likely to experience partial cloud cover, with chances of light rain and snowfall in a few places until Wednesday.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, fog and mist may develop in some parts of the Tarai during the early morning hours.

On Sunday afternoon, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly regions, while the Tarai will generally see clear skies. Light rain and snowfall are possible at one or two places in the Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
On Sunday night, the Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces will remain partly cloudy. The weather will be mostly clear in the remaining Himalayan and hilly regions. Fog and mist may develop in some parts of the Tarai, valleys and river basins during the early morning hours.
On Monday afternoon, the Himalayan and hilly regions will remain partly cloudy, while the Tarai will generally have clear weather. The department said light rain and snowfall are possible at one or two places in the Himalayan region of Koshi Province.
On Monday night, partial cloud cover is expected in the Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
