CHANGWON — South Gyeongsang Province will submit 16 campaign pledges requiring adjustment to a review panel of 50 residents before finalizing its implementation plan for the ninth popularly elected provincial government.
The panel will examine whether the adjustments are necessary and appropriate through the 21st of this month. The province plans to reflect the review results and finalize and release the pledge implementation plan at the end of this month.
The province launched the 2026 Citizen Pledge Evaluation Panel for the review and commissioned the Korea Manifesto Practice Center to select 50 residents, taking into account gender, region and age.
Panel members will hear explanations from the departments in charge of each pledge and deliberate on the proposed adjustments through questions and discussion. The province said it will review the panel's opinions to improve the effectiveness of its pledge implementation plan.
