Sierra Leone’s U-20 national team, the Shooting Stars, will begin their campaign in the WAFU Zone A U-20 tournament in Mali today, Monday, 19 October 2026, with a clash against Mauritania.
The match is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at Stade Mamadou Konaté in Mali, as the Shooting Stars look to secure a positive result in their opening fixture.
The fixture schedule was revised following Guinea-Bissau’s official withdrawal from the group, making the encounter against Mauritania an important opportunity for Sierra Leone to build early momentum in the competition.
The Shooting Stars will next face Senegal on Thursday, 22 October, as they seek to strengthen their position in the tournament.
