Akoko Val's difficult labour
Akoko had expected a routine delivery, but things took a serious turn when she spent hours in the delivery room without progressing past six centimetres of dilation.
Doctors grew increasingly concerned as the baby's heartbeat began to fluctuate, leaving them with little choice but to perform an emergency Caesarean section. Despite the frightening ordeal, both mother and baby came through safely.
The content creator described the experience as unexpected yet deeply joyful, saying that finally meeting her newborn son made the difficult journey worth it.
The birth announcement wraps up a pregnancy journey Akoko shared openly with her followers. She first revealed she was expecting in June, describing the news as the best birthday gift she could have received, six years after the birth of Bambi.
"Akoko is having Baby No. 2. Best birthday gift ever. Six years later, our family is growing, and my heart is so full. We are so ready for you, little one," she said at the time.
Gender reveal and the road to baby no 2
On Friday, July 3, 2026, Akoko hosted a colourful gender reveal that confirmed she was carrying a boy. The emotional occasion moved her to tears, and she addressed the fans who had been following every step of the journey.

From the pregnancy announcement to the gender reveal and now the birth, Akoko has kept her audience close throughout the experience. Fans and fellow creators have since filled her comment section with warm congratulatory messages as she settles into life as a mother of two boys.
