Meta unveiled Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full on October 12. The two advanced models are designed to strengthen its position in the global AI race. The launch aims to develop more capable AI systems and bring what the company calls ‘personal superintelligence’ to users.
The models are built on Meta’s earlier Muse Spark system. The company claims they can deliver improved performance across personal and professional tasks, including software development, financial analysis and complex problem-solving.
Muse Wonder Targets Complex AI Tasks
Meta developed the new models to handle tasks that require sustained reasoning, information processing, and multiple steps. These will help users in performing tasks such as:
Interpret insurance claims
Understand lease agreements
Analyze financial information
Develop applications
The company plans to improve how its models manage tasks over extended periods. The aim is to go beyond answering individual prompts and complete more complicated assignments with less repeated input from users.
Meta further explained, “The models represent a significant advance in its efforts to build AI agents that can support everyday activities and professional workflows. “
Active Memory and Active Focus
Muse Wonder models feature Active Memory that allows them to retain relevant information across conversations and retrieve details when needed. This may help AI assistants maintain context during projects that span days or weeks.
The models also use Active Focus to continue working when tasks become difficult. They can explore alternative approaches, recover from errors, and seek clarification when necessary.
According to Meta’s developer information, “Muse Wonder costs USD 4 per million input tokens and USD 20 per million output tokens. The company plans to integrate the new models into its Muse personal AI agent, initially rolling out access to subscribers.” The move highlights a shift towards monetizing Meta’s advanced AI capabilities through developer tools and subscription services.
