Bills quarterback Josh Allen is approaching a milestone that only four quarterbacks before him have reached.
Allen has 4,960 career rushing yards, so if he runs for 40 yards on Sunday against the Raiders, he'll have 5,000 rushing yards in his NFL career.
Only four quarterbacks have done that before him: Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is the NFL's all-time quarterback leader with 6,666 career rushing yards, heading into Week 6. Behind Jackson are Michael Vick with 6,109, Cam Newton with 5,628 and Russell Wilson with 5,568.
Allen is the NFL's all-time leader in rushing touchdowns for a quarterback, with 87 in his career. He likely won't catch Jackson on the career rushing yardage list, but he could easily retire with both the most career rushing touchdowns and second-most career rushing yards of any quarterback in NFL history. Quite an accomplishment for a quarterback who's a great passer, too.
