Commanders coach Dan Quinn received heavy criticism for his team's botched final sequence against the Giants, which turned a likely win into a tie. He's not the only coach who shuddered watching the closing moments of that game.
Former Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, now a studio analyst on NBC's "Football Night in America," sharply criticized both teams on Sunday for the way they closed out the game.
While Tomlin's teams were no stranger to winning ugly, particularly in his final years in Pittsburgh, what he saw from the two NFC East rivals shocked him.
Here's a look at what Tomlin said.

Mike Tomlin rips Giants-Commanders finish
Tomlin called the ending between the Giants and Commanders as "disgusting," singling out mistakes by both teams.
"I'd describe it as disgusting," Tomlin said. "I was disgusted by the Skattebo fumble. I threw up in my mouth a little bit at the end of the game."

Before the Commanders botched a chance to attempt a game-winning field goal when Jayden Daniels held onto the ball and went down too late to get another play off, the Giants blew their chance at a game-winning field goal with an inexplicable fumble by Cam Skattebo.
Skattebo's fumble, however, won't be what fans remember from the game. The Commanders' mishap left head coach Dan Quinn furious as he slammed his headset, though both Quinn and Daniels put the blame on themselves after the game.
"We'll never know what happened," Tomlin said. "The head coach said what he was supposed to say. The quarterback said what he was supposed to say. It's just tough, man. Division wins are very precious, and they had one in their hand."
If the Commanders' season continues to spiral, it might not be long until coaching Daniels himself becomes an option for Tomlin.
