LALIGA has officially announced Real Madrid 's return to its Executive Committee. The club is reclaiming a seat on the league's governing body, a key strategic move in relations between the two organizations.
The decision formalizes Real Madrid's return to a forum for direct discussions with other clubs in the First and Second Divisions. This step ends a prolonged period of voluntary absence and institutional tension.
Sources within the organization have confirmed that the move aims to foster smoother dialogue on financial and broadcasting decisions. Mutual understanding is now a priority under the new working framework.
The presence of the club headed by Florentino Pérez on the governing board does not eliminate existing differences over strategic projects. However, it opens a formal channel for discussing disagreements from within the league itself.
For Spanish football, this rapprochement marks a rebalancing of the competition's governance. Institutional consensus now appears closer as the sector faces economic and regulatory challenges.
