BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 22. An investment agreement has been signed for the construction and launch of a glass container manufacturing plant in Kazakhstan’s Aktobe on the sidelines of the IX Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable (KGIR-2026) in Shymkent, according to the Ministry of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan.
The agreement was signed between the Ministry of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan and Aktobe Steklo LLC in the presence of Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov and Minister of Industry and Construction Yersaiyn Nagaspayev.
Total investments in the project stand at approximately $150 million, with a planned annual production capacity of around 256 million units of glass containers.
