“Human capital is a critical asset in achieving the Grow Zambia agenda. Our role is to produce knowledgeable, skilled, and competent graduates who can propel local industries forward. Without these vital skills, national economic goals cannot be fully realized,” Dr Lengwe said.
He advised that as a premier business and accounting institution, ZCAS plays a vital role in training financial professionals who oversee both public and private resources.
Dr Lengwe also emphasised the importance of financial accountability, sound management, and anti-corruption principles, ensuring that graduates uphold transparency and ethical standards essential for social and economic stability.
He stated that government has commended ZCAS for its financial self-sustainability, highlighting the institution’s ability to generate its own operating revenue rather than relying on state treasury allocations.
