It's easy to forget the Vikings are still one of three undefeated teams, backed by the work of defensive mastermind Brian Flores. While Minnesota's offense has shown vulnerabilities, the defense looks like it can keep the team in any game. So far, that's been the case.
The Vikings' perfect mark will be tested by the Colts, who are undoubtedly hungry to put last week's debacle behind them. Indianapolis collapsed against the winless Titans and fired longtime GM Chris Ballard less than 24 hours later in a sign that owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon's tolerance is wearing thin.
After getting banged up in the early weeks of the season, Justin Jefferson is hoping a bye week puts him in position for an explosive midseason stretch.
The Colts, meanwhile, are hoping a repeat of the Vikings' record-setting comeback when these two teams met in 2022 doesn't materialize again as Indianapolis tries to prove this isn't a lost season.
