The BTO4 PBAT ’27 Support Group has set a target of 90 per cent of votes cast in Ese-Odo Local Government Area, Ondo State, for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general election.
The group’s Director-General, Ogbeni Adojutelegan Adesuyi Gideon, popularly known as Ado G, disclosed this on Tuesday during the Ese-Odo leg of its statewide Unit-to-Unit tour.
He said the emergence of two APC National Assembly candidates from Ese-Odo reflected the area’s political relevance in the Ondo South Senatorial District.
The candidates are Dr. Isaacs Duerimini Kekemeke (Ondo South Senatorial District) and Hon. Donald Kimikanboh Ojogo (Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency).
According to him, the nominations present an opportunity for greater representation and renewed attention to the development needs of riverine communities. He added that political representation must translate into accountability and effective constituency engagement.
As part of the tour, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to the traditional ruler of Ajapa Kingdom, Oba Godwin Aboyewa.
Adojutelegan said the group came to pay its respects and seek the monarch’s blessings, noting the role of traditional institutions in promoting peace, unity and community development.

Mr Adojutelegan said the tour in Ese-Odo covered all 10 political wards: Apoi I to V, Arogbo I to III, and Ukparama I and II. It brought together ward coordinators, party stakeholders, community leaders, women, youths and residents for discussions on voter education, political participation, party cooperation and community development. According to him, the tour was designed to strengthen relationships at polling-unit level and encourage respect for electoral laws.
Adojutelegan called for sustained attention to waterways transportation, road infrastructure, healthcare, education, youth employment and economic opportunities in Ese-Odo and other riverine communities. He urged elected representatives to maintain regular contact with constituents, and residents to engage candidates on their legislative priorities and commitments.
He also commended the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, popularly known as BTO, for his leadership, mentorship and support for the group and the tour. He described the minister as a political mentor whose emphasis on discipline, cooperation, unity and service had influenced the movement’s activities.
