The Spaniard fumed in his post-match interview following an uninspiring 1-1 stalemate, suggesting referee Peter Bankes had been biased after VAR controversy had defined the previous week’s Manchester derby.
Referencing a soft foul on Harry Maguire awarded against the diminutive Fulham youngster Josh King, Arbeloa grumbled: "All fouls for them. You can see before they scored, the foul against [Harry] Maguire, he's a guy who is 100 kilos. Every decision was for them.
"And I knew. I knew after the game against Man City that they [would not] let Manchester United lose here. We deserved a little bit more.
"We were so close. So, so close. We were a little bit unlucky again. We knew it would be difficult against this big team. Also we knew what happened last week. We have seen what the referees have been doing all the match so it was a difficult game. And we were unlucky."

Alvaro Arbeloa hit out at referee Peter Bankes after Fulham drew 1-1 with Manchester United last month

The FA have taken a dim view of his statement, handing him a £25,000 fine and a written warning for his outburst.
A statement explained: "It was alleged that the Fulham head coach acted in an improper manner by making comments in a post-match interview that imply bias and/or question the integrity of a match official. Alvaro Arbeloa subsequently admitted the charge."
It is more bad news for the under-pressure Arbeloa, who has yet to win a league match with Fulham this season.
The Cottagers sit bottom of the Premier League after six matches, with just two points to their names despite Arbeloa being heavily backed in the transfer market this summer.
Standard Sport reported earlier this week that he is already facing the sack and has just two matches left to save his career.
Last weekend’s 2-1 defeat by Ipswich, where Fulham gave up the lead after conceding in the 88th and 92nd minutes, has been seen as something of a nadir. If Arbeloa cannot get results against Hull City or Coventry this weekend or next, the club’s hierarchy may be forced to chop and change.
