Deshaun Watson’s decision to open his home to the Cleveland Browns is already paying dividends in the locker room. Rookie wideout KC Concepcion believes the gesture could make a difference when the games get tight. Following Cleveland’s Week 6 victory over the Baltimore Ravens, Watson hosted teammates at his house Monday night. The gathering featured food trucks, card tables, and video games. For Concepcion, the value went beyond a postgame celebration.
Browns WR KC Concepcion talked about the party at Deshaun Watson's house.

“Personally, I feel like the more your team is connected, the more that you know your guys, the more that you trust your guys whenever you guys go out there on the field,” Concepcion said, via Spencer German. “Since you know your teammates so well, since you hang out outside the building, it just builds up trust and builds up that connection.”
That chemistry matters for a Browns team that has repeatedly found ways to win close games. Cleveland sits at 4-2 and atop the AFC North after securing statement victories over Pittsburgh and Baltimore. Watson’s gathering even surprised head coach Todd Monken. The latter admitted he knew nothing about the party until shortly before his media availability. Concepcion’s comments suggest the quarterback’s gesture is resonating with teammates as Cleveland prepares for a Week 7 road matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
Concepcion has become an important part of Cleveland’s passing attack. He has recorded 22 receptions through the opening six weeks and provided Watson with a reliable option to move the chains. His season took a frightening turn when a helmet-to-helmet collision against the New York Jets sent him into concussion protocol. After clearing the necessary steps, he returned against Baltimore and caught four passes for 37 yards in the Browns’ walk-off win.
