Carvoeiro Cat Charity to host festive fundraising dinner

Carvoeiro Cat Charity Associação (CCCA) is inviting supporters and animal lovers to come together for its annual Christmas Fundraising Dinner on Saturday, December 19, at Victoria’s restaurant in Poço Barreto, Silves.

The festive evening promises good food, friendship and plenty of Christmas cheer, all while raising much-needed funds to support the charity’s work.

Guests are invited to arrive at 7pm, with dinner served at 7.30pm.

The evening will begin with a traditional couvert of bread, olives, butter, pâté and cheese, followed by a choice of three main courses: Steak and Guinness stew served with baby potatoes; roast turkey with creamy leek and bacon sauce, potato purée and vegetables; or vegetarian cottage pie.

A dessert buffet will round off the meal, while wine, draught Sagres beer, soft drinks and water are all included.

Tickets cost €40 per person, including a donation to the charity.

Organisers hope the event will bring together familiar faces and new supporters for an enjoyable evening of festive celebrations, while helping to raise vital funds for the cats in the charity’s care.
