Binance will permanently shut down Binance Pool and its related cryptocurrency mining services on November 10, 2026, at 07:00 UTC. The decision will end mining connections, new rewards, and several financial products linked to the platform. In its October 13 announcement, Binance instructed miners to move their equipment to alternative pools before the deadline. The closure follows the company's regular review of products and services.
Binance Pool Shutdown Ends Mining Services on November 10
The shutdown covers Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator, and mining APIs. Telegram hashrate alerts and email notifications will also stop operating. Until November 10, the mining pool will continue operating under its existing rules. Binance will include eligible mining shares submitted before the cutoff in its final reward calculations.
Afterward, the affected services will stop generating rewards, savings yields and other benefits. Miners must update their equipment settings and replace Binance's existing Stratum connection addresses to maintain mining operations elsewhere.
Binance has not identified a replacement mining provider. The exchange also withheld details about the computing power currently connected to its mining pool.
Meanwhile, the company clarified that its decision concerns mining-related products rather than its broader exchange business. It has not announced plans to discontinue cryptocurrency trading services.
Binance Sets Deadlines for Mining Rewards and Account Access
Binance has instructed Pool Savings users to review active positions and complete necessary redemptions or cancellations before the shutdown. Customers with outstanding rewards, refunds or other balances must also ensure their accounts can receive payments. Binance will continue processing eligible unsettled amounts after the closure.
Still, payments will depend on individual product terms, account status, and applicable regulations. Compliance checks and risk controls may also affect settlement timelines. For account verification, customers must complete outstanding identity checks and related requirements by November 10 at 23:59 UTC. Binance said completing these steps would help facilitate eligible payments.
Separately, users should download mining records, transaction reports, and account histories before access ends. Binance will remove mining pool links from its homepage on November 10. However, certain historical pages will remain accessible for another 14 days. Customers can review available mining data and payout records until November 24 at 07:00 UTC.
After that deadline, Binance plans to permanently close the remaining pages, ending access through the existing interface.

Binance Ends Mining Business Launched in April 2020
Binance launched its cryptocurrency mining pool in April 2020, initially targeting Bitcoin miners. The service connected mining activity with the exchange's trading and financial products. In October 2022, Binance Pool introduced a $500 million lending initiative for Bitcoin miners and digital asset infrastructure companies. The latest closure announcement does not address loans issued through that program.
The company later expanded its offerings. In August 2023, Binance Pool introduced Bitcoin Ordinals inscription services for eligible customers.
By November 2024, the platform added Fractal Bitcoin merged mining. This allowed compatible Bitcoin miners to earn additional FB rewards using external wallets. In September 2026, Binance also ended USDP support within its mining products under a separate delisting schedule.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin mining infrastructure continued evolving across the industry. In May 2026, seven major operators joined the Stratum V2 working group.
The participants included Foundry, AntPool, F2Pool, SpiderPool, MARA Pool, Block Inc. and DMND. Together, they represented approximately 75% of Bitcoin's network hashrate when the initiative emerged.
Stratum V2 supports improved communication between miners and pools while giving compatible miners greater control over block construction.
Binance has not linked its shutdown to Stratum V2, mining competition or network conditions. Its October announcement cites an ongoing product review without disclosing Binance Pool's financial performance.
Conclusion
Binance Pool will cease operations on November 10, ending mining connections, reward generation, and related services. Affected miners must switch pools, review outstanding balances, and complete account verification requirements. Historical mining records will remain accessible until November 24. Customers can contact Binance Customer Support for assistance with unsettled payments.
