Brenda Song continues to make her Los Angeles sports fandom felt. And this time, it’ll happen on the “Manning Cast.”
As the Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills are set to end a thrilling Week 5 of the NFL on Monday night, Song is scheduled to join Peyton and Eli Manning on “The Manning Cast.“
While it will be her first time appearing on “Monday Night Football,” it isn’t her first time being a part of a live broadcast for the Rams, as she appeared as a guest alongside Rob Havenstein, Jourdan Rodrigue, and J.B. Long during a CBS broadcast of a Rams’ preseason game against the New Orleans Saints this past summer.
Song was handed the headset and microphone during the third quarter and immediately had the chance to call an explosive play, as she witnessed Alex Cook intercept Spencer Rattler and return it for a 100-yard touchdown.
After Cook broke past a defender and had nothing but green in front of him, Song couldn’t help but cheer on her team by saying, “Let’s go, let’s go. We’re going home, bye!”
Since the Rams returned to Los Angeles 10 years ago, Song and her husband — actor Macaulay Culkin — have regularly built a connection with Los Angeles sports.
In May, 2025, Song was brought on to announce the Rams schedule release where she was seen sitting behind a new desk and was trolling all 17 of their opponents that season.
Recently, Song has appeared in the new Netflix show “Running Point,” which is about a fictional Lakers inspired basketball team called the Los Angeles Waves. The main character in the show, Isla Gordon, is loosely inspired by the life of Jeanie Buss who is played by Kate Hudson.
In the show, Song plays the character Ali Lee,who is the chief of staff for the Waves.
Aside from Song joining the broadcast, Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young, who also grew up in Southern California, and went to school at Mater Dei is expected to join. As well as CBS sports broadcaster, Jim Nantz.
