Emphasising the importance of mental well-being among young people, Our Responsibility to Children (ORC) and Svarnim Puducherry, a unit of Sri Aurobindo Society organised a series of mental health awareness programmes in various colleges in Puducherry recently.
Held as part of Mental Health Month, the sessions aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, encourage open conversations about emotional well-being and create safe, supportive and inclusive educational environments.
According to a press release, the initiatives reflected the spirit of the World Mental Health Day 2026 theme, ‘Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change’.
