A recent family gathering at a Pittsburgh Steelers game appeared to represent a significant turning point for Aaron Rodgers, whose strained relationship with his relatives has attracted public attention for years.
His parents, Ed and Darla Rodgers, attended alongside older brother Luke Rodgers, providing a visible sign that the quarterback had made progress toward repairing relationships once thought to be deeply fractured.

However, one family member was notably missing from the occasion: younger brother Jordan Rodgers, who has maintained a complicated relationship with Aaron since their falling-out became public in 2016.
According to an anonymous source who spoke to Page Six, the brothers have resumed some communication, but their relationship has not necessarily returned to normal.
"JoJo [Fletcher] and Jordan are cordial with Aaron," the source claimed. "It seems like Aaron has led the public to believe things are better than they actually are with Jordan."
The latest claims contrast with the optimistic picture Aaron recently presented when discussing his family relationships on the Not Just Football podcast.
The four-time NFL MVP explained that rebuilding those connections had required separate conversations with his parents and each of his brothers.
"There were tough conversations for sure," Rodgers acknowledged. "But I'm just in a much better headspace."
Rodgers also credited his wife, Brittani, with helping him navigate the reconciliation, although he has continued keeping details of their marriage largely private.
The quarterback's comments suggested that important progress had been made, but he did not claim every disagreement within the family had been completely resolved.
The source told Page Six that Jordan and his wife, JoJo Fletcher, remain reluctant to discuss the situation.
"It still seems like a very sensitive topic for Jordan," the insider said.
Why Aaron and Jordan Rodgers stopped speaking
The brothers' estrangement became public during the 2016 season of The Bachelorette, when Jordan introduced Fletcher to his family.
Aaron was absent from the televised hometown visit, prompting questions about why the NFL quarterback was not participating.
"Me and Aaron don't really have that much of a relationship," Jordan explained at the time.
"It's just kind of the way he's chosen to do life, and I've chosen to stay close with my family and my parents and [Luke]."
The comments exposed a family disagreement that subsequently remained unresolved in public for years.
Although Aaron has recently described efforts to reconnect, neither brother has provided a detailed account of their current relationship.
Absence from Steelers game has another explanation
Jordan's absence from the recent family reunion attracted attention, but the Page Six source insisted that geography and professional commitments were important factors.
Jordan and Fletcher live in Puerto Rico with their daughter, Romy, and reportedly prefer limiting travel whenever possible.
"JoJo and Jordan's location has a lot to do with not seeing the family as much," the source explained.
The insider also emphasized that Jordan remains extremely close to his parents, despite not attending every family gathering.
"Jordan is really busy with work, so even if everything between him and his family was good, it isn't odd he isn't at games supporting Aaron all of the time," the source added.
The contrast between Aaron's positive reflections and the source's more cautious account indicates that the reconciliation may still be developing.
After years of estrangement, the brothers appear to have made progress, but the full extent of their renewed relationship remains known primarily to the family itself.
