A pair of teenage boys have been arrested and charged after a 30-year-old man was killed in an alleged fatal stabbing at a park in Sydney’s west on Friday night.
Police were called to a small park behind the Club Hotel in Mt Druitt just before 9pm on Friday night after receiving reports of an assault.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a man in his 30s “suffering stab wounds to his torso”.
Police began rendering first aid to the man before NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived shortly after and took over, but despite their efforts he died at the scene.
A crime scene was immediately established, and State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad took over the investigation under Strike Force Lanilo.

At 7.20pm on Sunday night, a 13-year-old boy was arrested at Mt Druitt Police Station and charged with murder, breach of bail, and an unrelated count of robbery.
At 8pm on Sunday night, police arrested a 16-year-old boy at a home in Cabramatta, before taking him to Cabramatta Police Station and charging him with accessory to murder after the fact.
Both boys were refused bail and will appear before a children's’ court on Monday.

The investigation is ongoing and police are still appealing tot the public for CCTV footage and dashcam.
On Saturday morning, NSW Police Superintendent Brendan Gorman said officers had managed to obtain some footage of the “horrendous” incident, but there was still more work to be done.
“At this stage, police have a number of lines of inquiry and we are looking for about a dozen people who were in the area at the time to come forward and provide help to police to solve this crime,” he said.
“I would say this is a horrendous incident which is certainly concerning for police. Part of the investigation will be to determine if it is random or if it was targeted prior to the incident.”
