The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has outlined the procedure for updating the current residential address on a Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) for citizens living in a rented house.
According to NADRA, to update the residential address, applicants must have certain documents.
NADRA said applicants can visit a registration center with a rental agreement, an affidavit from the landlord, or a computerized electricity, gas, or water bill issued in the name of the applicant, their parents, or their spouse.
The required documents can be submitted to update the residential address on the CNIC.
Applicants are advised to ensure they have the relevant supporting documents before visiting a NADRA Registration Centre.
