We’re down to two weeks left in the regular season of the 2026 Michigan high school football campaign.
Then, it gets really interesting.
In the next couple of weeks, playoff spots will be solidified and lost by many. There’s no room to be comfortable, even for those who may be comfortably in. The next step is always securing home field advantage.
The number to meet in each 11-player division is 32. That’s the cutoff for the postseason. In 8-player, that number dips to 16.
Here’s a look at all the current playoff teams around northern Michigan and parts of the Upper Peninsula, along with a few others that could work themselves in.
