MacG has stirred up a storm after making jaw-dropping allegations about Ayanda Thabethe's marriage on the 12 October 2026 episode of Podcast and Chill. The controversial podcaster claimed he received sensitive insider information about the media personality's husband, Peter Matsimbe, and did not hold back.

According to MacG, a source close to Thabethe alleged that Matsimbe had been unfaithful throughout the entirety of their marriage. The insider went even further, linking him to criminal activity, though suggesting he would never face consequences because of who his family is.

"Peter's family has serious drug lords; nothing will happen to him. He's from long money; he does his own criminality, but generational wealth is there," MacG alleged on the podcast.

Ayanda Thabethe's name change fuels marriage rumours

The explosive claims come on the heels of speculation that had already been swirling around the couple after fans noticed that Thabethe appeared to have removed Matsimbe's surname from her social media profiles, reverting to her maiden name. The move sent tongues wagging, with many peeps convinced the marriage had quietly collapsed.

However, the same insider who brought the allegations to MacG also reportedly reached out to Matsimbe directly. According to the source, Matsimbe dismissed the split rumours outright and confirmed that he and Thabethe were still together.

Thabethe and Matsimbe celebrated two years of marriage in June 2026, making the timing of these revelations all the more striking for fans who have followed their relationship closely. The latest episode of Podcast and Chill has reignited public curiosity about the state of their union, with netizens weighing in across social media platforms.
