Punjab Green Bus Fare to Remain at Rs. 20
Maryam Nawaz also announced that Punjab’s fully electric Green Bus service would continue charging Rs. 20 per ride despite rising petrol and diesel prices.
The service currently operates 700 buses. The provincial government plans to increase the fleet to 3,000 buses within the next six to eight months.
The government also provides free travel on these buses to women, students, senior citizens, and people with disabilities.
