After the Pittsburgh Steelers improbable comeback win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this past Sunday, a Buccaneers fan is hoping that the reputation of Yinzers being known for their kindness and neighborly love will ring true.
During the game, Patrick Siewak, from Port Richey, Florida posted on Facebook that he lost his hat when it flew off of his head while on the escalators in Raymond James Stadium.
Siewak says that he saw a Steelers fan with the hat, and he hopes that they will come forward and return the hat to him, and he is also offering a reward for its return.
The hat holds a lot of sentimental value to Siewak, because it has a pin on it that commemorates his late son, who died in the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
Fans that may know anything about the hat’s whereabouts can contact Siewak on his Facebook page.
