The 2026 UIL high school football season is more than halfway through, district play is in full swing and teams are starting to look toward the playoffs.
High in the American-Statesman's power rankings is Cedar Ridge. The Raiders upset Lake Travis 35-34 to stay undefeated and put themselves in prime position for the lead spot in the District 25-6A race. Cedar Park also had a close 37-35 win over Hutto and if the Timberwolves stay undefeated (they play Vandegrift this weekend), Cedar Park could also win their district.
