Dany Mota and Foe Ondoa come into the Monza side, while Cagliari pair M’Bala Nzola with Paul Mendy up front for their trip to the U-Power Stadium.
It kicks off at 18:30 CET [17:30 BST] at the U-Power Stadium in Monza.
Ivan Juric’s Monza have just four points from their first six games after their return to Serie A, with one win, one draw and four defeats. They lost 3-1 at Lazio last time out, and have conceded 15 goals, the second-worst defensive record in the division. Gustavo Varela has been the bright spot, scoring four goals in his first five Serie A appearances.
Cagliari are one of the surprise packages of the season, with 13 points from six games, and are unbeaten in four. They held Juventus to a 1-1 draw last time out, but Fabio Pisacane is suspended after his touchline row with Luciano Spalletti, so assistant Giacomo Murelli takes his place on the bench. Daniel Maldini, who has four goals in six games, returns to face his former club.
Juric has a strong record against the Sardinians, losing just one of his last nine Serie A meetings with them, with four wins and four draws.
Monza are without the suspended Lorenzo Lucchesi, so Saba Goglichidze comes into the back three. Matteo Pessina, Idrissa Touré, Jan Ziolkowski, Zeballos and Mayé are all injured. Patrick Ciurria is back in the squad.
Cagliari are missing Mattia Felici and Riyad Idrissi, both with cruciate ligament injuries, as well as Yael Trepy. Murelli pairs M’Bala Nzola with Paul Mendy up front, with Maldini behind them, while Yerry Mina edges captain Alessandro Deiola for a place in defence.
