If you had an opportunity to go have drinks with any NBA legend throughout time, and you would pick Michael Jordan, you would be dead wrong. Sorry.
It would have to be current TNT Sports analyst Charles Barkley because he has the memory of a goldfish.
Not only that, but the average Joe off the street could likely beat him in a game of “Who He Play For?” a segment commonly played on “Inside the NBA” where the hosts have to guess which teams commonly bounced-around players currently play for.
Not only did Chuck go 0-for-5 in the first round, he was given the opportunity to play again after the answers were already given.
Here are some of the present players who defeated the all-knowing Barkley in this session: Moe Wagner (Brooklyn Nets), Mo Bamba (Utah Jazz), Buddy Hield (Chicago Bulls), Taurean Prince (Detroit Pistons) and Aaron Wiggins (Atlanta Hawks).
Barkley was given a second chance. This time, he went 1-4. Allow us all to thank Shaquille O’Neil for this gold.
This wasn’t a day later, or a week later – but seconds later.
You think they’d stop there? Nope. Third round. Same players.
“There’s no way you did your homework at Auburn,” Kenny Smith said through breathless laughs. “We gave him a test three times. AND GAVE HIM THE ANSWERS AND HE STILL FAILED THE TEST!”
Oh man, this roast smells particularly epic.
“I honestly thought that segment was gold, but now it’s platinum,” sports analyst Edward Egros posted on X.
“’Kenny, if we replay the game right now how many will he get?’ Shaq’s a genius for this,” freelance writer Tim Ryan noted.
“They coulda run it a fourth time, Chuck wasn’t gonna get Buddy Hield right,” someone commented.
“This got me in tears man,” one person said.

Known for his sharp basketball analysis, Barkley also provides several moments of comedic relief as well, as evidenced by the clips circulating on social media.
