Silves’ popular Jazz nas Adegas (Jazz in the Wineries) is returning for its 10th edition, bringing live music back to vineyards and wine estates across the municipality from November 2026 to May 2027.
The new season opens on November 6 and 7 at Quinta João Clara in Alcantarilha, with the Feel Good Band, before moving through a long list of local wine producers over the following seven months.
Organised by Silves Council, the initiative has become one of the municipality’s most distinctive cultural events, popular for combining small-scale jazz concerts with wine tastings, tapas and visits to local wineries.
The idea is to take music outside conventional concert halls while simultaneously promoting Silves’ wine producers and the municipality’s growing wine tourism offer.
Artists appearing during the 10th edition include Low Tech Groove, Scooby 4 Tet, Betty and the Boopers, Sonic Bloom Jazz Collective, Silves Filarmónica Combo, Sofia Moreira Quarteto, Diga Diga Doo’s, Al Guitar Duo, Jaime Almeida Trio, Marta Santa Maria Trio, OJA and Funky Noise.
Venues range from established wine producers such as Cabrita Wines, Quinta do Francês, Paxa Wines and Barranco Longo to smaller estates and other distinctive spaces across Silves municipality.
Wine, tapas – and a bottle to take home
Tickets cost €35 per person and are reserved for adults aged 18 and over.
The price includes admission to the concert, wine tastings and tapas, as well as a voucher to visit Silves Castle and the Municipal Archaeology Museum.
Guests will also receive a bottle of wine as part of the experience.
Tickets for the first sessions go on sale at 4pm on Thursday, October 22 through BOL and at the usual physical outlets, including FNAC, Worten, El Corte Inglés, CTT, Pousadas da Juventude and Serveasy kiosks.
