Los Fabulosos Cadillacs Costa Rica Concert on 19 November

COSTA RICA · CONCERTS

The Fabulosos Cadillacs Costa Rica concert takes place on Thursday 19 November 2026 at Parque Viva, an events park in Alajuela, west of San José. The Argentine band behind “Matador” brings its LFC Tour 2026 to a venue in the same province as Costa Rica’s main airport.

Tickets on eticket.cr, the official seller, cost ₡35,100 (about US$77) to ₡52,600 (about US$116), and the show starts at 7 p.m. local time. That is 8 p.m. in New York, so US fans can plan a long weekend around the Fabulosos Cadillacs Costa Rica date.

Who Los Fabulosos Cadillacs Are and Why This Show Matters

Los Fabulosos Cadillacs are an Argentine ska and rock band that the Costa Rican daily La Nación ranks among the continent’s most important groups. Their singer is Vicentico, and their best-known songs include “Matador”, “Mal Bicho” and “Vasos Vacíos”.

The band celebrated 40 years on stage in 2025 with an anniversary tour. Its Costa Rica stop that year, on 22 June, filled the Estadio Nacional in San José, La Nación reported.

Costa Rica has become a regular stop on the band’s tours. A year before that stadium night, they played the Centro de Eventos Pedregal in Belén, Heredia, in June 2024.

The November show at Parque Viva keeps that run of almost yearly visits going. This time the band arrives with its LFC Tour 2026, the Costa Rican news site CRHoy reported in July.

Before Costa Rica, the band plays Santander Arena in Santiago, Chile, on Thursday 29 October. Fans following the tour can read our guide to the Los Fabulosos Cadillacs concert in Santiago.

For a US visitor, the Fabulosos Cadillacs Costa Rica show is a chance to hear a Latin rock classic on a short trip. The venue sits in Alajuela province, home to Juan Santamaría International Airport, the country’s main gateway.

Fabulosos Cadillacs Costa Rica Tickets and Prices

The official seller for the Fabulosos Cadillacs Costa Rica show is eticket.cr, which lists a 7 p.m. start on Thursday 19 November 2026. The Costa Rican news site CRHoy also named eticket.cr as the platform for the show.

Buy only on eticket.cr or at its authorised points of sale, which the seller lists on its website. Avoid resale offers on social media, because tickets bought there are hard to check before the night.

Prices on eticket.cr on 13 October run from ₡35,100 (about US$77) in the side sections to ₡52,600 (about US$116) in the Ska Pit VIP zone. The Golden Circle Matador zone and the central sections cost ₡46,800 (about US$103), and the preferred sections cost ₡40,900 (about US$90).

All prices are in colones and include the seller’s service charge. The US dollar figures here use the 12 October rate of about 455 colones per dollar.

Costa Rica’s currency is the colón, and 10,000 colones (about US$22) in cash is handy for small purchases. A charge in colones on a US card is converted by your bank at its own rate.

The seller offers digital tickets that can be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. It also lists a “buy now, pay later” option for this event.

Keep your Fabulosos Cadillacs Costa Rica confirmation e-mail and the card you paid with until the night. Download the ticket to your phone before you leave the hotel, in case mobile data is weak at the gate.

Parque Viva and How to Get There

Parque Viva is an events park in La Guácima, a district of Alajuela, west of San José. The seller gives the address in local style, counting from the football pitch of La Guácima, 1.2 kilometres north and 700 metres east.

CRHoy reported that the show will take place in the Anfiteatro Imperial, the park’s amphitheatre. Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO), the country’s main international airport, is also in Alajuela province.

From San José, Escazú, Heredia or the airport hotels, the easiest way to Parque Viva is a licensed taxi or ride-hailing app. Allow extra time, because the show falls on a Thursday and evening rush hour around San José can be slow.

Book or agree on your ride home before the show ends, since thousands of people leave at the same time. Agree on a pick-up point away from the main exit to save time.

If you stay near the airport, the trip to La Guácima is shorter than from downtown San José. Check the route in a map app on the day, because travel times change sharply with rain and rush hour.

Tips for US and Foreign Visitors

US citizens do not need a visa for tourist stays of less than 180 days, according to the US State Department. You need a passport valid for the length of your stay and a return or onward ticket.

The State Department rates Costa Rica at Level 2, “Exercise increased caution”, because of crime. Level 2 is the second of four levels, below “Reconsider travel” and “Do not travel”.

The State Department advises carrying copies of your ID and immigration papers, and warns that local authorities may ask for the originals. Do not leave valuables in a parked car, even a locked one, and use only licensed taxis or well-known ride-hailing apps.

November can still bring evening rain to Costa Rica’s Central Valley, so pack a light rain jacket. Evenings around Alajuela are usually mild, and a light layer is enough.

Costa Rica keeps Central Standard Time all year and does not use daylight saving time. After US clocks change on Sunday 1 November, a 7 p.m. start in Costa Rica equals 8 p.m. in New York.

Bring a fully charged phone with your digital ticket and some cash in colones for small purchases. Check the event page for any list of items not allowed inside before you set off.

What Is Not Confirmed Yet

The seller had not published door times or a support act by 13 October. CRHoy said in July that a guest band would be announced, but eticket.cr does not name one.

The age limit is not final, as tickets are sold for ages 15 and up while a separate note says 18 and up. The final rating is up to Costa Rica’s public shows classification commission, which rates events for minors.

Prices and the zones still on sale can change as sections sell out, so check the Fabulosos Cadillacs Costa Rica event page before travelling. Any change of time or venue would be announced by the seller, so keep notifications from eticket.cr switched on.
