Publishers’ representatives unanimously agree on the 2027 fair dates.

The Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2027 will begin on 7 January and run until 6 February.
The schedule was announced in a notice signed by Bangla Academy Director General Mohammad Azam.
According to the notice, a meeting with publishers' representatives on organising the fair was held on the morning of 13 October at the Shaheed Munier Chowdhury auditorium of Bangla Academy.
Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury chaired the meeting. Cultural Affairs Adviser Dr Zahed Ur Rahman and ministry secretary Yasmin Begum were also present.
The notice said the dates were finalised following a unanimous decision by the publishers' representatives at the meeting.
The fair is scheduled to run from Thursday (7 January) to Saturday (6 February).
